INVERTER BACKUP SYSTEMS

UPS Backup systems are installed to provide power backup to sensetive and critical loads due to the fact that UPS's are able to filter and clean up dirty power and the Higher Quality Double-Conversion online units have "Zero Switchover" times and provide the highest form of protection to critical loads, in various fields of industry!

TYPES OF INVERTER BACKUP SYSTEMS:

Bi-Directional  Square wave:

These Inverters let mains through to the load on their output during normal operation and the moment that mains fails, it will switch to supplying the load with power created from the battery bank. The output is Modified or Squarewave which should not be used for critial applications and inductive loads like motors. The batteries can either be configured for 12 Volts, 24Volts or 48Volts, depending on the model of inverter. The inverter will then recharge the battery bank via the same cables that it used to draw power from to supply the load.

Applications :

Camping - power lights and radios

Speedpoint Machine backup

Standard Alarm systems

Gate motor backup

LED TV Backup

Bi-Directional  Pure Sinewave:

These Inverters let mains through to the load on their output during normal operation and the moment that mains fails, it will switch to supplying the load with power created from the battery bank. The output is Pure Sinewave like that from Eskom and is suitable be used for critial applications and inductive loads like motors. The batteries can either be configured for 12 Volts, 24Volts or 48Volts, depending on the model of inverter. The inverter will then recharge the battery bank via the same cables that it used to draw power from to supply the load.
